How to see who has seen your status on WhatsApp

It’s nice to know that your contacts are reading your status updates. But not sure how to see who’s viewed your report? To know who has read your status, you must have read the receipt turned on, but your contact must also have read the receipt turned on. This wikiHow will teach you how to see the list of contacts who have viewed your status on WhatsApp.

On an iPhone

Open WhatsApp.

Tap the WhatsApp icon that corresponds to a green box containing a white speech bubble with a phone receiver. This will open the messaging service’s chat page. If you’re not logged in, enter your phone number and verify your account when prompted.

Make sure you have read receipts turned on.

If you can’t see which contacts have seen your status update even though you know they’ve read it, you need to turn on your read receipt. Your contact must also have confirmation enabled. Follow the steps below to enable it: Tap Settings at the bottom right of the screen. . Choose Account. Go to Privacy. Enable read receipts by sliding the switch to “on”.
